Truncated Cone

It creates a truncated cone where you can define the top and bottom radius, the height, the segments along and the caps.

Dragging the handles will allow you to change dynamically the dimensions, and double-clicking to set the exact value.

Moving the disk will change the position of the center of creation.

Parameters

› Top Radius

Sets the top radius of the truncated cone.

› Bottom Radius

Sets the radius of the truncated cone base.

› Height

Sets the dimension along the central axis.

› Segments

Sets the number of divisions around the truncated cone.

› Segments Z

Sets the number of divisions along the central axis.

› Cap Top

Sets the property of the top cap. The drop-down list allow to choose between:

• None: without cap.
• Polygonal: it creates a cap with triangles that matches in a central point.
• Ngon: it creates a cap with a single face, it has the same number of sides than segments.

› Cap Bottom

Sets the property of the bottom cap. The drop-down list allow to choose between:

• None: without cap.
• Polygonal: it creates a cap with triangles that matches in a central point.
• Ngon: it creates a cap with a single face, it has the same number of sides than segments.

Command Validation

1. Click button to validate the command and apply the new geometry on the scene.

2. Click button to cancel the command, and refuse to apply geometry on the scene.

3. Click button to open the help information of the command, in case you need more detailed information about the tool being used.
