Subdivision Level

This tool allow change the level of subdivision of one object or the entire scene.

       If we have preselection, the command will ask us to increase or decrease the current object's subdivision level.

       The default Subdivision Level is set on the Settings. This default value will set the Subdivision Level of all geometry created.

       If we do not have any selection, it will change the Subdivision Level of the entire scene.

Subdivision Level Options

› Increase

Increase the level of subdivision by 1.

› Decrease

Decrease the level of subdivision by 1.

Subdivision Level Tips

• It is not recommended to set higher values than 4.
• Reducing the level to 2 or 1 while modeling will improve a lot the performance, but will reduce the quality of the visualization.
• While applying any transformation, the value is automatically changed to 1 to improve performance.

Command Validation

1. Click Enter button on your keyboard ormouse right-click to validate the command.

2. Click Escape button on your keyboard to cancel the command.

3. Click Function key 1 button to open the help information of the command, in case you need more detailed information about the tool being used.
